Blog Requirements:
Discussions: The first post will always be a reflection of the reading. These are discussion questions with no right or wrong answer - instead they are designed to make you think about your own reactions to the events of the story. Think about the question and then post your thoughts. Next, read the responses of others from the class and reply to at least two others. It is okay to agree, respectfully disagree, or add on to the thinking of others. Remember, this is an online conversation.
Research: The second post each week will be a research post. There will be one or two topics posted, with links available to help you out. You need to find two facts from 2 different sources and paraphrase (put in your own words) then provide textual evidence from your source of information. You may not simply copy and paste your facts. Once you state your facts, you need to make a connection between your fact and the book. How are these talking about the same thing. You also need to comment on a fact from two of your peers in your group. What other connections can you make? How does this fact connect to one of your facts? Finally, you need to list your sources of information. URL, Title, Publisher, Date, Time
